Tasks

Assign work, set due dates, and track progress in list, Kanban, or calendar views.

How do task sections work?

Organise tasks into sections your workspace defines — for stages, teams, or priorities.

Sections are the columns you see in Kanban view and the groupings you see in list view — your workspace defines what they mean, whether that's a workflow stage, a team, or a priority level.

Using sections

  1. Open Tasks in Kanban or list view.
  2. Drag a task into a different section to move it — for example, from In Progress to Done.
  3. In list view, tasks are grouped under their section header; you can usually collapse a section to focus on the rest.

Managing sections

Admins can add, rename, reorder, or remove sections from the Tasks settings for a group or workspace, depending on how your workspace is set up. Changing a section's name doesn't move the tasks inside it — they stay right where they are.
