Who counts as an active member?

Someone who uses the workspace in a rolling activity window counts toward billing.

An active member is a person who uses your workspace inside a rolling activity window of about 30 days. Paid plans bill for those people — not for every invited account that never signs in.

The activity window

1. FabricLoop looks at recent use in a rolling window (about 30 days), not a calendar month you pick.
2. Activity includes opening the app, creating or editing work, commenting, uploading files, or viewing updates.
3. If someone has not used FabricLoop in that window, they are inactive and do not count toward paid seats.

Agents and apps are not human seats. They do not add to the active-member count.

Inactive credit

1. When a member becomes inactive, they drop off the billed seat total automatically.
2. Credits apply on the next invoice — you do not remove them from a seat picker.
3. If they come back and use the workspace again, they count as active (prorated if they return mid-cycle).

Tips

• Free workspaces have unlimited users, so the active-member count does not create a bill until you upgrade.
• Inviting someone does not start a charge by itself — they count after they start using FabricLoop.
• Owners and admins can review plan and invoices from billing settings.
