How do I switch between workspaces?

Switch between workspaces from the Home pills, or manage every workspace on your device from Settings.

Updated 2026-09-12

If you belong to more than one workspace, switch using the pills at the top of Home, or manage them all from Settings. The switcher shows each workspace’s name, not its URL slug.

Quick switch from Home

  1. On Home, tap the workspace pill strip at the top of the screen.
  2. Tap the workspace you want. A small badge shows unread activity on each workspace before you switch.
  3. FabricLoop switches your active workspace and reloads its messages, tasks, and notes.

Manage workspaces from Settings

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Find the list of Workspaces on this device — each row shows the workspace name, and the one you're currently in is marked with a checkmark.
  3. Tap a different workspace in the list to switch to it.
  4. To stop seeing a workspace in your switcher without leaving it, use Hide on that row. You stay a member and can show it again anytime — hiding only affects the switcher on your devices, not your membership.

If sign-in expired

If a workspace session has expired, FabricLoop offers Sign in instead of switching silently. Sign in with that account, then switch again.

Add or join another workspace

Use Add Workspace to create a new workspace or join one you don't belong to yet — see How do I create a workspace? for the create-or-join flow.

Tips

  • Hiding a workspace applies everywhere you're signed in — hiding it on your phone also hides it on your Mac and the web. You stay a member; hiding only affects what shows in the switcher.
  • If a switch fails, you'll see an alert — try again in a moment, and contact us if it keeps happening.
