Sign up, choose a workspace name, and you're in — no credit card required.
A workspace is your team's shared home in FabricLoop: messaging, tasks, notes, news, and AI in one place. Create one if you're setting FabricLoop up for your company or team.
Steps
- Open app.fabricloop.com, or install FabricLoop from the App Store, Google Play, or a desktop download.
- Sign up with your email.
- Choose Create new workspace (or New) when asked whether you're creating a workspace or joining an existing one.
- Type a Workspace name people will recognize — usually your company or team. The name teammates see can be in any language.
- FabricLoop also needs a Latin URL (letters, numbers, and hyphens). On the web you see Your workspace name will be followed by the slug. On iPhone, if the name is not already Latin, a separate URL field appears (3 to 63 letters or numbers). That becomes
{your-url}.fabricloop.com. - Confirm Create workspace or Go. You land in the new workspace as its owner.
If that URL is taken, try another (That URL is taken or Workspace name is already taken). The switcher shows the display name, not the slug.
Joining instead of creating
If a teammate already created your workspace, choose Join existing workspace (labeled Existing on the web) and enter the workspace URL slug (letters and numbers) from their invite, or use their invite link. If your email domain matches one the workspace allows, you can join automatically — otherwise your request goes to an admin for approval and you'll see a message that it's pending.
Tips
- You can belong to more than one workspace and switch between them at any time. The switcher shows workspace names, not URL slugs.
- The first person to create a workspace becomes its owner, with full control over settings, billing, and membership.
- No credit card is required to explore on the free plan.
