FabricLoop is an MCP server for tools like Cursor, Claude, and ChatGPT. After you connect, those tools can create tasks, send messages, draft news, and more — using *your* FabricLoop permissions.
This is the inbound connection (external AI → FabricLoop). To connect third-party apps *into* FabricLoop as an MCP client, see How do I set up an MCP app?.
For a product overview and client-by-client walkthroughs, see the MCP team workspace page.
Copy the MCP endpoint
- In FabricLoop, open Settings → AI / MCP (Cursor, Claude, GPT).
- Copy the MCP URL under Endpoint:
https://api.fabricloop.com/functions/v1/fabricloop-mcp. - Keep that URL handy — each AI client pastes it as a remote MCP server or custom connector.
Connect in your AI client
Pick the client you use. Full setup guides with screenshots of the menus:
- Connect Cursor — add the URL in Cursor MCP settings or
mcp.json - Connect Claude — Customize → Connectors → add a custom connector
- Connect ChatGPT — developer mode / Apps with OAuth
Other MCP clients that accept a remote URL with OAuth can use the same endpoint.
Approve access
- Sign in when the consent page opens (
https://app.fabricloop.com/oauth/consent). - Pick the workspace this client should use.
- Approve the tools you want to grant. The client can only act in that workspace, with the scopes you selected.
Manage connected clients
- Return to Settings → AI / MCP.
- Under Connected clients, confirm the tool appears, with the scopes you approved.
- Tap Revoke on a client anytime to disconnect it immediately.
To switch workspaces later, reconnect and approve again.
Tips
- Do not share one person’s access token across the team — each person should complete their own consent.
- Grants are visible and revocable. If a setting is missing, you may need an owner or admin to allow the connector in your organization.
- See What can FabricLoop MCP do? for the tool list, and example prompts to try after connecting.
- For catalog apps such as vendor MCP tools you enable *inside* FabricLoop, use the MCP catalog.
