What prompts work well with FabricLoop MCP?

Example MCP prompts for Cursor, Claude, and ChatGPT: multi-step task updates, DMs, news events, comments, attachments, and search.

After you connect an MCP client, paste prompts like the ones below. Name the group or person when you can — that keeps the agent from guessing the wrong channel.

Multi-step prompts are where MCP shines. Ask for the whole loop in one message:

Find the open task about MCP setup docs in #Engineering. Summarize what’s left, mark it done if the docs are shipped, then DM Sana: “MCP setup docs task is done — can you glance at /en/product/mcp/?”
Search the workspace for “oauth redirect,” open the matching task, add a comment with what I fixed in this branch, set due date to tomorrow, and message me a one-line status in #Launch.
What tasks are assigned to me that are overdue? Pick the highest-priority one, outline the next three steps as a comment, and DM Sana if it’s blocked on design.

Tasks

Create a task in #Engineering titled “Ship MCP setup docs,” assign it to me, due Friday.
Find the task titled “Fix MCP oauth redirect,” move it to In Progress, and assign it to me.
Mark “Ship MCP setup docs” done and leave a comment: “Live on /product/mcp and the three client guides.”

Messaging people

News and events

Draft a news post for All Company summarizing tasks closed in #Launch since Monday. Title it “Launch week update.”
Create a news event for All Company: “MCP office hours,” starting Thursday 15:00 for 45 minutes, with a short agenda in the body.
Update the “Launch week update” post to add Friday’s shipped tasks, then comment @Sana asking for a quick review.

Search, notes, and comments

Search the workspace for anything about MCP permissions or revoke — summarize the top hits from tasks and notes.
Summarize every note tagged with pricing from this month and list open questions.
On the note from today’s sync, add a comment listing action items that still need owners.

What did #Engineering finish yesterday, and what’s still open?
Draft this week’s update for #Q2 Launch from tasks closed since Monday — I’ll edit before posting as news.

Tips

Prefer one multi-step prompt (“find X, update it, then DM Y”) so the client chains tools instead of stopping after the first lookup.
Name people and groups exactly (Sana, #Engineering) — the agent looks up IDs from those names.
Workspace search covers tasks, notes, and news — not chat. For DMs, ask it to open the conversation with that person.
For coding sessions in Cursor, ask it to file FabricLoop tasks from TODOs, then DM the owner when a task is ready for review.
