How do I join a call?

Join from an incoming notification, or open the same conversation and tap the call button.

When someone starts a call in a conversation you're in, you can accept the incoming notification or open that conversation and tap the call button to join the same room.

Join from an incoming notification

1. When a teammate starts a call, FabricLoop notifies everyone in that conversation.
2. On the notification, tap Accept (or Answer) to join, or Decline to skip it.
3. After you accept, the in-call screen opens with mute, camera, and leave controls.

Join from the conversation

1. Open the same direct message the call was started from.
2. Tap the call button in the conversation header (phone for audio, camera for video).
3. FabricLoop connects you to the room that's already in progress.

If you're already on that call, the header call buttons hide so you don't start a second one. A compact call indicator lets you return to the call or hang up.

Tips

• There's no separate meeting link to paste — the call is the conversation it started in.
• If you miss the ring, opening the DM and tapping the call button is the same join path.
• Allow microphone and camera access before you join, or you'll connect without audio or video.
