What is MCP?
Model Context Protocol lets an AI client call tools on a remote server. FabricLoop exposes your workspace as that server — so Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor can act in the same place your team already works.
Which clients work today?
Cursor, Claude, and ChatGPT. Other MCP clients that accept a remote URL with OAuth can connect the same way.
What can the AI see?
Only the workspace you approve, and only groups and content your account can already see — messages, tasks, notes, news and events, comments, and attachments. Workspace search covers tasks, notes, and news (not chat). There is no workspace-wide backdoor.
Can I revoke access?
Yes. Open Settings → AI / MCP, find the connected client, and tap Revoke. Access ends immediately.
Does MCP cost extra?
Connecting over MCP does not add a separate FabricLoop seat fee. Agent model costs inside FabricLoop are billed by the provider; your Cursor, Claude, or ChatGPT plan is billed by that vendor.
Does it work on the free plan?
Yes — you can connect and try it. Free includes test-only agent credits for in-product agents; MCP uses your connected AI client’s own plan.
