Full MCP with write actions is aimed at Business, Enterprise, and Edu plans where admins can publish workspace apps. Enable developer mode, then create an app pointed at the FabricLoop endpoint with OAuth.

Add FabricLoop in ChatGPT. Then approve access.

Turn on developer mode
In ChatGPT settings, enable developer mode (required for custom MCP apps).

Create an app / connector
Apps → Create. Enter the endpoint https://api.fabricloop.com/functions/v1/fabricloop-mcp, choose OAuth, then scan tools.

Publish if you are an admin
On workspace plans, an admin may need to publish the app before members can use write actions.

Approve FabricLoop
Complete OAuth, pick the workspace, and approve scopes. Confirm write actions when ChatGPT asks.

Plan gating
Write actions may require Business, Enterprise, or Edu. Check OpenAI’s MCP / developer-mode docs for your plan.

Confirmations
ChatGPT may ask you to confirm each write — that is expected for destructive or posting actions.

Revoke anytime
Settings → AI / MCP → Revoke on the ChatGPT client in FabricLoop.
Troubleshooting
If tools do not show up. Check these first.

Developer mode missing
Your ChatGPT plan may not expose custom MCP apps yet — use Cursor or Claude, or ask an admin.

Tools scan empty
Confirm the endpoint URL, OAuth choice, and that FabricLoop consent completed.

Writes blocked
An admin may need to publish the workspace app; confirm write actions when prompted.

Wrong workspace
Revoke and reconnect, selecting the correct FabricLoop workspace on consent.
