What is Loop Agent?

Loop Agent is FabricLoop's built-in agent for working across your workspace.

Loop Agent is FabricLoop's built-in agent. You message it in a channel like a teammate, and it can summarise threads, create tasks, draft updates, and notify the right people — with you in the loop.

Where to open it

1. Open any channel where Loop Agent is available.
2. Type @ in the message box and select Loop Agent.
3. Ask in plain language and send. The reply appears in the thread on your message.

You can also open AI Hub (the sparkles control) and switch to the Agents tab to see Loop Agent and any other agents in the workspace.

What it can do

1. Summarise a thread or catch you up on unread work.
2. Create tasks from what the team just decided.
3. Draft a note or an update for you to review.
4. Help notify the right people when something needs attention.

Loop Agent drafts; people send. It does not silently assign work or post news without an approval step.

Tips

• There are no slash commands — mention Loop Agent and write as you would to a person. See How do I message an AI agent in a channel?.
• For a private workspace Q&A that is not a channel thread, use Ask instead.
• Production agent runs use agent credits. Free workspaces include test-only credits.
