What is Ask?

Ask lets you query your workspace with AI without leaving FabricLoop.

Ask is FabricLoop's in-app workspace AI. You query your own messages, tasks, notes, and people without leaving the app — useful when you want an answer that is not a public channel thread.

Open Ask

1. Tap the sparkles control on Home or in the toolbar, or open Settings → AI Hub.
2. Stay on the Ask AI tab (Agents and Apps are separate tabs in the same hub).
3. Type a question in the composer and send.

On the web, Ask AI is also available from the main navigation.

Use workspace context

1. Ask it to create work — for example, "Create a task called Review mockups due Friday."
2. Ask it to find context — "Who owns onboarding?" or "Summarise unread work for me."
3. Ask it to draft a note or news item from what it finds.

Ask uses the prompt you type plus the workspace content it needs to answer. Suggested prompts appear when a conversation is empty. You can start a New chat anytime from the current conversation header.

Tips

• Ask is your private AI Hub thread. To work in a channel where the team can see it, message Loop Agent instead.
• On iPhone, tap the waveform to use Voice AI in the same Ask conversation.
• Free workspaces have lower Ask text and voice limits; upgrade if you hit a cap.
