How do I set my birthday?

Add a birthday on your profile so it can surface for the team on the day. Leave the field blank if you'd rather keep it private.

Add a birthday on your profile. FabricLoop can surface it automatically on the day. If you don't want that, leave the field empty — there isn't a separate privacy toggle.

Add or change your birthday

1. Open My Profile.
2. Find Birthday.
3. In the app, use the date picker. On the web, choose month, day, and year. FabricLoop stores the date in a timezone-safe way so the calendar day doesn't shift.
4. Save (the app saves when you leave the editor; the web saves when the date is complete).

Birthday display is meant to highlight the day to celebrate rather than your age.

Keep it private

Birthday is optional. If the field is blank, nothing is stored and it won't appear on your profile or as an automatic birthday moment. To stop sharing later, clear the date the same way you set it.

Tips

• Setting a birthday is what makes the News / team celebration possible — nobody else can fill this in for you.
• Start date and next review date are separate optional dates on the same profile section.
• If the day looks off by one, check that month, day, and year are all filled in; a partial date won't save on the web.
