How do I edit my profile?

Open My Profile to update your photo, name, status, and the details teammates see when they work with you.

Open My Profile and change your photo, name, status, and other fields. On the web, edits save as you go; in the app, changes save when you leave the profile editor.

Open your profile

1. Open the overflow menu from Home or Team (the ••• or profile menu).
2. Choose My Profile.
3. On the web, you can also open your avatar in the sidebar and go to your user page (/user/me).

You're editing your own profile. Teammates can view what you share; they can't change it for you.

Update name, photo, and details

1. Tap or click your photo to add or replace an avatar.
2. Edit Name, and optionally Email and Phone.
3. Set a Status (emoji plus a short line) — and, where supported, how long it should last, or clear it. You may also be able to set Availability (for example Available, or another option from the list).
4. Fill in the rest of the profile fields you want teammates to see, then leave the screen (app) or wait for the save indicator (web).

Where supported, status can clear automatically after a preset duration, or at a date and time you pick.

Tips

• Your avatar and name show up in chat, on Team, and in search — keep them recognizable.
• Groups on your profile are the workspace groups you belong to, not a separate social list.
• Goals on a profile are generally a paid-plan feature — adding a goal on the free plan may open an upgrade screen.
