What can I put on my profile?
Share an about-me, hobbies, pets, food preferences, languages, and more — every field except the basics is optional.
Updated 2026-08-13
Your profile is how teammates learn who you are. Name and photo are the basics; everything else is optional, so fill in only what you're comfortable sharing.
Fields you can add
Open My Profile and use any of these:
- About me — a short bio. This is a good place to say how teammates can work with you (hours, strengths, "ask me about…").
- Status and availability — a live line (with optional emoji) and whether you're available. Where supported, status can clear after a set time.
- Groups — workspace groups you belong to.
- Email and phone
- Favourite foods and favourite hobbies — pick from the workspace lists.
- Languages
- Reports to and manages — who you work with in the org chart sense.
- Pets — photos of pets (optional, and easy to remove).
- Birthday, start date, and next review date
- Time zone — used on the Team page. On the web, you set this as an IANA zone such as
America/New_York. - Goals — objectives and key results, on paid plans.
None of the optional fields are required to use FabricLoop. Empty fields simply don't show much on your profile.
Tips
- Teammates browse these details from Team and from your profile page — they help a new hire know who to ping.
- Birthday display is meant to show the day to celebrate rather than your age; see how to set it if you want it to surface on the day.
- You don't have to complete the profile in one sitting. Add a photo and about-me first, then the rest when you have a minute.
