How do Home sections work?
Customise what appears on Home so your daily view matches how you work.
Updated 2026-08-13
Home is a stack of sections you can show, hide, and reorder so the first screen matches how you start the day.
Customise Home
- Open Settings → Home Sections. On iPhone you can also customise Home from the Home screen.
- Turn a section on or off. Typical sections include Approvals, Unread Messages, Due Tasks, @Mentions, News, and Events — the exact list can differ slightly between the native apps and the web app.
- Drag sections into the order you want. Hidden sections sit in a separate list on the web so you can Enable them again.
- On iPhone, iPad, and Mac, optionally turn on Hide Empty Sections so a section with nothing in it stays off the screen until there's something to show.
Tips
- Home section layout is personal to you on this device (or this browser) — teammates keep their own Home.
- Hiding a section does not delete the underlying work. Due tasks, news, and messages are still in their usual places.
- If Home feels noisy, hide the sections you rarely use and keep Unread Messages, Due Tasks, and @Mentions near the top.
