How do timezones work on the team page?

Team can group everyone by timezone so you can see local time at a glance. Set your zone on your profile so you land in the right group.

The Team page can lay people out by timezone, with local time on each group, so you can tell who is likely online before you ping them.

See the team by timezone

1. Open Team.
2. Open the grouping control (it may say Time Zone, A–Z, or Status).
3. Choose Time Zone. People are grouped by the timezone on their profile, sorted from earlier zones to later ones. Each heading shows that group's local time.
4. Switch to A–Z to browse by name, or Status to see who's currently online.

You can also filter Team by the group (tag) selected in the workspace, so you only see people in that group.

Set your timezone

1. Open your profile.
2. On the web, find Time zone and choose an IANA name such as America/Los_Angeles or Europe/London. Suggestions appear as you type.
3. Save (web saves on change). After that, you appear in the matching band on Team, and your profile can show your local time.

New accounts typically start with the timezone of the device used at signup. If you travel or the grouping looks wrong, update the profile field so teammates aren't guessing.

Tips

• Timezone is stored per person, not per workspace — set it once and Team stays accurate.
• Hovering a teammate (on the web) can show their local time from the same profile field.
• Agents can appear in a separate section on Team; timezone grouping is for people.
