What you can ask Zapier

Ask in plain language, with no slash commands. Zapier replies in the thread so the whole team sees the result.

Zapier reaches more than 9,000 apps, so the useful prompts depend on the apps connected in your Zapier account.

How to chat with Zapier in a channel

  1. Enable it for the workspace. An admin or owner opens the Apps tab, switches to MCP, finds Zapier and enables it.
  2. Connect your account. Each person signs in to Zapier once. FabricLoop acts as you, using your permissions.
  3. Message it directly. Select Zapier in the left nav or in Messages to chat with it in its own channel.
  4. Or mention it in any channel. Type @, pick Zapier and describe what you want. It replies in the thread on your message, so everyone in the channel can see it, and you can keep going there for follow-ups.

Read more in the help center: talk to an installed app, the MCP catalog and installing a channel app.

Zapier integration FAQ

What is the Zapier MCP server URL?

The Zapier MCP server is at https://mcp.zapier.com/api/v1/connect. FabricLoop connects to it for you when an admin enables Zapier, so you do not paste the URL anywhere.

How do I use Zapier in FabricLoop?

An admin enables Zapier from the Apps tab under MCP and each person connects their own Zapier account. Then select Zapier in the left nav or in Messages to chat with it in its own channel, or type @ in any channel, pick Zapier and ask in plain language. In a channel it replies in the thread.

Who can see what Zapier returns?

Zapier replies in the channel thread, so everyone in that channel sees the answer. It uses the connecting person's Zapier permissions, and the connection does not expand anyone's membership in FabricLoop.
