What you can ask Monday.com

Ask in plain language, with no slash commands. Monday.com replies in the thread so the whole team sees the result.

These are examples of the kind of request to try. What Monday.com can do depends on your Monday.com account and permissions.

How to chat with Monday.com in a channel

  1. Enable it for the workspace. An admin or owner opens the Apps tab, switches to MCP, finds Monday.com and enables it.
  2. Connect your account. Each person signs in to Monday.com once. FabricLoop acts as you, using your permissions.
  3. Message it directly. Select Monday.com in the left nav or in Messages to chat with it in its own channel.
  4. Or mention it in any channel. Type @, pick Monday.com and describe what you want. It replies in the thread on your message, so everyone in the channel can see it, and you can keep going there for follow-ups.

Direct channel app. Monday.com also has a direct connection. Open a channel, choose Apps and Agents from the header menu, then Add app (direct connection), and Monday.com events land in that channel as they happen.

Read more in the help center: talk to an installed app, the MCP catalog and installing a channel app.

Monday.com integration FAQ

What is the Monday.com MCP server URL?

The Monday.com MCP server is at https://mcp.monday.com/mcp. FabricLoop connects to it for you when an admin enables Monday.com, so you do not paste the URL anywhere.

How do I use Monday.com in FabricLoop?

An admin enables Monday.com from the Apps tab under MCP and each person connects their own Monday.com account. Then select Monday.com in the left nav or in Messages to chat with it in its own channel, or type @ in any channel, pick Monday.com and ask in plain language. In a channel it replies in the thread.

Who can see what Monday.com returns?

Monday.com replies in the channel thread, so everyone in that channel sees the answer. It uses the connecting person's Monday.com permissions, and the connection does not expand anyone's membership in FabricLoop.
