What you can ask Amplitude

Ask in plain language, with no slash commands. Amplitude replies in the thread so the whole team sees the result.

These are examples of the kind of request to try. What Amplitude can do depends on your Amplitude account and permissions.

How to chat with Amplitude in a channel

  1. Enable it for the workspace. An admin or owner opens the Apps tab, switches to MCP, finds Amplitude and enables it.
  2. Connect your account. Each person signs in to Amplitude once. FabricLoop acts as you, using your permissions.
  3. Message it directly. Select Amplitude in the left nav or in Messages to chat with it in its own channel.
  4. Or mention it in any channel. Type @, pick Amplitude and describe what you want. It replies in the thread on your message, so everyone in the channel can see it, and you can keep going there for follow-ups.

Read more in the help center: talk to an installed app, the MCP catalog and installing a channel app.

Amplitude integration FAQ

What is the Amplitude MCP server URL?

The Amplitude MCP server is at https://mcp.amplitude.com/mcp. FabricLoop connects to it for you when an admin enables Amplitude, so you do not paste the URL anywhere.

How do I use Amplitude in FabricLoop?

An admin enables Amplitude from the Apps tab under MCP and each person connects their own Amplitude account. Then select Amplitude in the left nav or in Messages to chat with it in its own channel, or type @ in any channel, pick Amplitude and ask in plain language. In a channel it replies in the thread.

Who can see what Amplitude returns?

Amplitude replies in the channel thread, so everyone in that channel sees the answer. It uses the connecting person's Amplitude permissions, and the connection does not expand anyone's membership in FabricLoop.
