Create a note from the Notes surface, give it a title, and everyone in the group it belongs to can find and edit it.
Steps
- Open Notes and click New note.
- Give the note a title — this is what shows up in group note lists and search.
- Pick the group the note belongs to, if your workspace organises notes that way.
- Start typing. Notes save automatically as you write.
If you close a new note before it has a title or body, FabricLoop discards it so empty drafts don't pile up.
From a message
Open the message menu and choose Note. FabricLoop starts a note from that message so the chat context stays attached.
Tips
- A note doesn't need a perfect outline before you start — headings and structure are easy to add later.
- If several people need to write together straight away, just share the note; see real-time co-editing.
- On iPhone, iPad, and Mac, turn action items into tasks with a highlight — the task keeps a From note link.
- On iPhone, iPad, and Mac you can also say "Create a note in FabricLoop" to Siri — see Siri and Shortcuts.
